Chicago Bratva Book 1: The Director - Paperback

I read most of this series as ebooks and it was captivating enough for me to actually order the paperbacks for the series. It's one I'll read a few different times.

Really enjoyed

This authors work gets better and better for me. I can’t believe how much I’m enjoying these last few books I’ve read over the last 10 days. I’m obsessed. Can’t remember ever reading so many books in such a short time.I loved Lucy and Ravil’s story. Months after a one night stand when a condom broke, these two run into eachother again. Ravil refuses to be left out of the pregnancy. He wants to take care of her and their baby and will stop at nothing to accomplish that. Even if that means sending her to Russia. I loved getting the scoop on a whole new set of characters and cannot wait to see them all fall to their knees for the one!

I was hoping for a spicy dark romance....but this is just sweet. It's a decent story, predictable, but cute. I wish it were longer in order to put in more details and no feel so rushed to resolve.

Lovely story of a not-so-bad Bad Boy with a loving soul. I really loved this romance and Ravil. Great book!

I stumbled on this book with a snapshot reading and I was hooked. It didn’t take me long at all to finish it. I loved the push and pull of the story. Good read.

Love how the hate to love happened. Can't wait to read book 2 , I want to hear about the baby

I could not put this book down I loved the character Ravil it's shows people can change they don't have to let there past hold them back. I just love how he loves on Lucy.

This was a very good book. Once I started reading, I couldn't put it down. I'm looking forward to the rest of the books in the series.

When dark romance is mentioned we tend to wait for the punch. This story carries the kick that the dominance lovers need without spoiling the fun for the romantic softies as well. A great balance in a romance that will make you sight for the Papa.

I enjoyed this book. The romance and story were good. What I didn't like was that to read the rest of the series I have to pay even with my membership. I buy books and may buy these but I like knowing up front. I understand writers should make money and I want to buy but like I said knowing up front is key.

I love this book, it has everything that I like to read all together. I look forward to reading more of her books.

Ravil and Lucy! Aww these two were so cute. The back and forth was written so well.I love a surprise baby/ pregnancy trope, so fair warning this book is full of it.Also I’m so jealous of the rooftop salt water pool, honestly the best part

I really enjoyed Lucy & Ravil’s love story. It was unorthodox and beautiful at the same time. The book is romantic despite the darkness in their lives.

This book was everything I was looking for it was perfect in every way I’m going to dive into the second book 😭😍❤️

You're going to have to read this if you like dominate men and strong women vying for control but submitting to love.

After watching the reels on fb I had to read this and it didn't disappoint. Though he started off with vengeance in mind in reality it was so much more. I liked her strength even as she craved to be dominated. I look forward to the rest of the series.

I enjoyed this spicy introduction to this bravata family. Great back and forth. It was a little short for my liking, but that is me wanting more.

Read this on an app so happy to have gotten the book.

A great story about a one night meeting and their surprise meeting months later and how they fell in love.

I did like how this book went, but the main female character goes against her character and it’s counter intuitive.

This book sat on my TBR for too long and I’m so glad I read it now. We met this couple in Black Light Roulette and I’m happy to see their story continue. After their night of fun and passion this couple was left with an unexpected surprise and months later meet, much to Ravil’s shock that Lucy is pregnant.Ravil takes matters into his own hands and claims his son, with threats and coercion he gets Lucy to grudgingly accept his conditions.Love this couple and I can’t wait to hear more about them in this series ❤️

I would rate this more of a 3.5 stars. I definitely enjoyed this modern mafia take. Would have loved to have seen a little more action but it’s okay. I say this because we hear how dangerous Ravil is but we don’t really see it. I would love to hear more about his friends’ potential relationships.

This book takes a serious look at one of todays socitital issues, human smuggling. The main characters find they need each other even though they are strong personalities. There is a power struggle with humorous overtones. The book cannot be put down and you are left with going to the next novel.

Lucy is a spunky defense lawyer that seems a little too eager to be spanked. At least outside of court. The spice is there and the dialogue flows really well. Just felt like the story's pace was a little off. Overall, good read. Another book I picked up in the Stuff Your Kindle promotion.

Strange story, not sure how I feel about it; it comes across as good, bad and ugly.The characters are easy to like and will make good characters for their own stories.

In my cheapness, I try not to stock up on 99c deals because I now that I'll want to finish the series and it will take a huge bite out of my budget.... but I adore Renee Rose.This fell right into my Arranged Pregnancies and Mafia reading mood right now. And it was perfect! The couple were introduced in a Blacklight Roulette book (iykyk) but I did not read that beforehand. So my review is from a standalone experience. They met as strangers in a BD$M club, the protection fails, but she promised to take a pill.When she gets home however, she decides to have the baby on her own. Five months later, our story starts when Baby Daddy walks into her law firm seeking counsel. And all her plans go out the door. Rather, he invites himself into her apartment and spirits her out the door to his MAFIA HEADQUARTERS. He knows that he will be a good father and she'll have to accept that or find a sneaky way out because he's not letting go.I could tell that the writing was good within two chapters. Through it all, he pampers her like only a mafia boss can! He's tender and kind, and dominant. He's really a good guy with a sad upbringing. And his merry men of bachelor lieutenants are hilarious.(Update: I read their short story in Blacklight: Roulette Wars and boyyyyyyy that's hot!)

Nice quick read that's F R E E on the zon. The steam was 🔥 I do wish we had gotten to see more of their first interaction instead of it just being flashbacks!

Truly enjoyed this mafia story. RUSSIAN mafia story is even better. I love the interactions between the characters. I wish there was a prequel of their original rendezvous. I will read the next in the series. 5 stars for me thinking I could read this again and again.

I loved the family style of the bratva in this book and even though it took "Kitten" time to see how much she was loved, the story ended great.

It was as spicy as I usually read, I'd recommend it for someone who would like to venture in Smutty books but still treading lightly. It was a fast paced book that I read within 24 hours. I did really enjoy this book. I can't wait for The Fixer to come in the mail.
