“ This time I saw the hurt behind her anger, and it seemed important that I correct her notion.”
Brand new series and man does it start out strong! Ford is just delicious, sexy, strong, loyal, confident. He even looks after his little old grandmother. How could any woman not love him on the spot? Indi has so many layers. So confident and yet so full of doubt. I kept hoping she’d see just how amazing she is. Their chemistry is off the charts! I loved watching these two finally find each other. No other outcome was possible.
The upcoming books will for sure be the others in his team. Hayes and Megan are next. Then we’ll get Taft and Kennedy. Each are unique and equally appealing. I can’t wait to read each one.
Incredibly well written with just the right amount of suspense. I love books with strong alpha men and equally strong, capable women.Indigo Buchanan made a huge mistake nine years ago that left her both devastated and humiliated. At eighteen she pushed herself on her brother's best friend only to be turned away. Now she's a mountain guide for Sparks Outdoor Adventure and the best in Montana but when a sudden storm forces her to take cover she quickly finds herself in the home of the last person she expected.Navy SEAL Ford Ledger is dishonorably discharged and dismissed on bogus charges after looking into the questionable death of his best friend while deployed. Now, along with several ex team members, he's back home in Sparks, Montana. While they've built up Alpha Mountain Security they are continuing their search into the death of Buck Buchanan. Seeing Indigo again instantly renewed Ford's old feelings for her but a promise made to Buck weighs heavy on him. When unexplained events occur Ford is determined to protect Indi at any cost. But will an unexpected danger from Ford's past threaten their fledgling relationship?
This is my first series of Alpha Mountain. This story was great. I just wished nothing bad had happened in the beginning. I would like to know more about Indigo and Ford. I will be getting the next two books.
Awesome start to a series I know will become an all-time favorite. Ford was drool worthy, I fell in love with him from the start. I'm diving into book 2 now.
Having an over-protective older brother I am told can be a pain in the butt. I am sure that is how Indigo felt about her brother, Buck. Especially when it came to his best friend, Ford. For as long as she could remember she wanted Ford and one night while both Ford and Buck were home on leave from the SEALS, she tried to show him her feelings for Ford. Sadly, that night didn't go as planned. Buck found out and the fights and siblings fought.Sadly, Buck died while in combat and was given a dishonorable 'discharge'. Ford was also given a dishonorable discharge trying to clear Buck's name. This story gives you action, suspense, drama, and lots of steamy scenes between Ford and Indigo. Their relationship is one of trials. Do they make it? Does Buck get his name cleared of wrongdoing?Must read!ARC -brier
This one was a surprise. I was waiting for the same type of books from the author but she keeps giving me unexpected turns. The thrilled that the main characters had was superb and I loved the way Blue dominated him 💙
This is another hit .... forbidden love... you know the bro code never mess with the little sister .... when things go south and Ford returns home along with a few extra hunks.. :) ,... the story is exciting, dangerous and sweet in many ways. I enjoyed how so many interesting people became part of this story in this little town. and the story has the HEA ...Perfect that wrong is made right and a hero's name was cleared. The sizzle as always is off the charts... Truly a GREAT Read...
This series is going to be great, I hope there is more said about Indigo and Ford, marriage children etc. I just bought book two and want to read it and see what happens with the guys and gran.
This is exciting, dangerous and sweet in many ways. I especially enjoyed how so many interesting people became part of this story in this little town. Perfect that the wrong was made right and a hero's name was cleared. The sizzle was off the charts.
These authors are new to me, and I am glad I took the chance on this one.The drama and danger of this storyline kept me very entertained and flipping pages. I appreciate that Indigo was a capable woman, and a good match for Ford. The Buck connection was both sweet and sad.The steamy chemistry between these two characters is good and the HEA for Indigo and Ford was exactly what I expected.Glad I read this one.
Yum, hunky seal alpha hero and strong sassy woman. Add some old teenage angst with a helping of family loss , great writers and you have the perfect novel. Viola
Kennedy is an ex seal working as a merc along with Quincy who is an ex navy pilot. Their mission along with their team is to find the one responsible for the death of a friend and the dishonorable discharge for their friend and leader and owner of the mercs. Along the way Kennedy and Quincy come to terms as to what they mean to each other. Now they have a solid lead and things are going to get hostile and dangerous. Will they survive to be together?Fantastic and intriguing story that is intense and heart stopping.
I loved this second chance romance. The small town quirks and strong female lead were a perfect match for these war-torn heroes. Great series starter!
Oh my goodness!! What a fantastic storyline. Give me a Mountain Man anytime. Whew!! Love this!!
What's not to like, I mean WOW! A big brawny alpha mountain man. This is a book I would recommend to everybody. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
Loved it! It was written differently than the other cowrites, with wonderful alpha men and badass women. The storyline was interesting even though military stuff is not my favorite. I adore these two authors because they just write seamlessly! They took into account every place in a small town. I'm fully invested in this series.
Hero: A Mountain Man Mercenary Romance (Alpha Mountain Book 1) by Renee Rose, Vanessa Vale is a wonderful story to read. This is book number one in this wonderful start to a brand new series that I am hooked on and can not wait to read the rest. I highly recommend this story to everyone.I read a complimentary Advanced Reader Copy of this book & am voluntarily leaving an honest and unbiased review.
I couldn't put it down until it I finished it. Great plot and story! Can't wait to read more of this series!
This story had an exciting and action packed plot with wonderful characters that had such great chemistry together. I literally could not put this book down until I finished it. I have purchased the next in this series and can hardly wait to start it.
Fantastic start on this series. These Alpha Seals are fun and loving family. This book has it all to keep you reading until you realize the sun is coming up and you haven't slept yet. The romance is to swoon over and so much action the book is never boring. Who's next.
Great storyline. Engaging & interesting characters. Love the new series! Hot Alpha men! Bada$$ heroine! What’s not to love. Can’t wait for the next book in series to go live.
What a great start to a new series Rose and Vale have given us in Alpha Mountain Hero! It's a second-chance love story between Ford and Indigo. Back when they were teenagers, Ford felt pressured by his relationship with Indigo's brother Buck to turn down her youthful advances. That crushed Indy, and they've barely spoken since. But when Buck dies under mysterious circumstances, the man who drove a wedge between these two would-be lovers becomes the means for them to reunite once again.I like Indy's strong, independent character. She never veered into foolishness, even with her gun-shy avoidance of Ford. I also loved her capabilities as a mountain guide. Ford was a bit harder to accept, in the sense that his denial of anything to do with Indy long after Buck's death pushed the best-friend's-sister trope a bit hard. But once the story got going it was fascinating. There's a much larger mystery around Buck's death that Ford and his ex-SEAL buddies are just starting to dig into. Rose and Vale also do a great job of setting up some potential couples from Ford's band of security experts, so seeing where all this goes in future books is something to look forward to!
Exciting new series from this awesome team of story tellers, this one is emotionally thrilling, action packed and highly engaging romantic adventure filled with danger, passion and mystery. Had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end.
I'm so excited for this series!I'll admit, with "Alpha" in the title, I went looking for shifters, but when I realized this is straight-up ex-military romance, I was even happier. I love these characters, and just can't wait to see more of this series.I volunteered to review an ARC.
I liked the development of the plot. A quick read that kept my attention. It will begun to read future books about the characters.
Ford and Indi's story was really good. I love how bold and independent she is. Ford thought he was doing the right thing leaving his best friend's little sister alone, but she definitely proved him wrong. This story has adventure, intrigue and plenty of hotness. I'm looking forward to seeing where the members of Alpha Mountain take us!
Such a great book. An insanely hot and possessive alpha male and a strong and smart heroine. Can’t get any better than that.
