Overall I really enjoyed this book. I definitely appreciated the humor! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because I felt it was a bit of a rushed ending I would have liked if it was a chapter or two longer. Definitely recommend!

It's good. Very steamy, just a little short for my liking and wish there was a little more to the story. I really do love books with both pov's though so that was great!! Really enjoyed it though

I really liked this book. Lia has so much drive and strength, but also has her vulnerabilities. Just like any normal person. I really admire her drive to be different from her brothers, and yet still contribute to society. I keep wondering where I can find my own "Blaze." He is one hot toddy. Strong, reliable, dominant, and yet knows when to apologize. Looking forward to reading more of this author's books.

The problem with Renee's books is that once I start I literally can't put it down until I'm done reading them. It started with Zanadia and now I'm going through all of her books to the detriment of my sleep. With that being said, this book is a must read. It really is. I can't say enough good things about it. I like how the women in her books are not all the same. Some writers that write these kind of Alpha/Dom books have the women be the same, virginal or submissive type of person. Renee doesn't do that and Lia is not your typical sub. They are both tortured and it makes it so real and authentic. I can't say enough good things about this book.The scenes are really hot as well and different then the other books I've read from her. Also it wasn't Master/slave, more Daddy relationship. After reading this I felt like I understand that type of relationship more. All my thumbs are up for this book

I love Renee Rose. Her books are great with that but if spanking kink in them. This one is about a new female firefighter who is fighting her attracting for the captain of their fire station.

I loved Blaze and Lia's story. The chemistry between these two is hotter than the fires they put out. This is my first book by this author and I love her writing and can't wait to read more of her books. Everyone needs to read this story, I loved it and highly recommend this author.

If you like firefighters and a little daddy dominance then this is the book for you. Take one sassy female fighter and one dominant gruff Fire chief and the sparks will fly. The story is a fast and very hot read. I never knew that about ginger root.I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of the book.

Lia and the Captain have an insane attraction. She is Sparks and he is Blaze, they were made for each other. I loved the easy way the story progressed, naturally. I loved the vulnerability that the characters each had. They were not perfect. Their attraction was instant, intense and insanely hot. The story is beautiful written. Be prepared to get lost in it until you get to the last word.

If Author, Renee Rose, writes it, I'm going to read it. I love her work. She just has this certain something that makes me smile every time I read her work. But that doesn't mean I automatically give her high marks. In reality, I think I'm tougher because I believe she's such a fun, creative writer. With that being said, I thoroughly enjoyed her entry in the Hard n' Dirty series, Blaze. It had a great premise and I really loved the naughty bits! This series has several of my favorable authors collaborating and I can't wait to immerse myself in them.

I’m crazy about Blaze and Sparks! They’re so cute together. She loves fire and he’s dedicated to putting them out! Their relationship was hot and heavy from the moment he walked in her room at the firehouse and saw her in minuscule panties and her firehouse t-shirt. There’s a ton of spanking in this book.if you’re into spanking, Blaze loves to dole them out for pleasure and punishment. Sparks’ doesn’t even realize that pain and pleasure can go hand in hand until Blaze sets her hind parts aflame! However, this couple shouldn’t be a couple because he’s her Captain at the firehouse. He has a need to be a hero and she needs wants to be saved.

A pretty good read. I read another by this author. Story was good and the love scenes were not bad. Could have used a little more heat.

Blazing hot story! Renee Rose never disappoints! She brings the kink baby but she also weaves an intriguing story with a lot of heart too. Loved Lia and Blaze so much and would love to see more from this firehouse in the future.

If you have read any of Renee Rose's previous books, then you know that there will be spankings. If this kind of content offends you then this might not be the book for you, however another thing that Renee's books always have is a compelling and excellent storyline and this one is no different. Our heroine Lia believes that she needs punishment for something she did in her youth and her boss is just the man to give it to her, one because he is dominant and enjoys spanking women and two because he truly believes that if he gives her the punishment that she so obviously wants then maybe she will finally recover from the childhood memory that is haunting her life. And of course Renee always has a happy ending though sometimes her charectors seem to make that difficult lol I did recieve an arc for my honest review of this book and the reason I gave it 5 stars is because the storyline is strong and as I stated if you have read her books before you already know that there will be spankings and if you have never read her before, try this one, you may be surprised and find that you actually enjoy it.

This was my first Renee Rose book. I was in love with both Blaze and Lia. There weren't any plot issues and no typos to drive me crazy. Thank you Renee for taking pride and writing a great book. I will be back for more!!!

Even though Blaze is different from Renee Rose's other books, don't let that discourage you from picking it up because it is a very hot read!Blaze is a fire station captain who falls hard and fast for Lia, our heroine. Their romance is at once intense, scorching and swoon-worthy as the chemistry between these two characters leaps from the pages. It's not until the fire cools, though, that the characters begin to wonder if their attraction to one another is more than skin-deep.I really appreciated this book. Both protagonists had some serious character flaws they had to address, which made them even more human (literally) than one typically expects from Rose's writing style. Lia had this tough-girl exterior that she used to cover the vulnerabilities and shame she carried inside of her. Blaze, on the other hand, had a hero-complex that had the potential to ruin the relationships in his life, and it was so awesome to see him become aware of his behaviors and take active steps to correct them.I really liked how Rose created characters who were far from perfect but also who were the kind of people who learned from their mistakes and sought forgiveness when they made missteps. This book had an excellent balance of action, suspense and description, giving the reader a variety of supporting characters that made the story that much better.There were parts in the story that felt rushed, and I also felt that some of the physical scenes could've been replaced with scenes involving Blaze meeting Lia's family or Blaze introducing Lia to some of his friends outside of work, so those were little things that kept me from giving this story 5 stars. Overall, I really enjoyed reading Blaze and hope that the compellingly-written supporting characters get their own novellas down the line.

I love Renee Rose! Especially when she teams with Lee Savino but she is a champion alone as well. So I love a great love story and of coarse this is one. I think at first Blaze wants to fix Lia and of course she never really needed fixing because she is perfect. But Lia loves the dominant side and he loves using it so it works and why fix what doesn't need fixing but of course a guy never knows when to not overstep. But Lia is women is enough to fix it.
