I signed up to read Moon Mad after reading the blurb not realizing it was book two in a series. So I bought this book so I would know what I’m even reading. And I will say it was the best thing I’ve ever done. I have never read by either author, Renee Rose or Lee Savino but it’s one of those instances where you want to go and purchase everything they’ve ever written and just spend a month in bed reading all their work. I have a feeling that this is going to be one of those series that I need to buy the physical books because I love it that much. I am obsessed with the grumpy sunshine dynamic that they have. I’m curious to see how some family dynamics play out and I’ve got a couple hunches. This book is delicious and funny and I cannot recommend it enough!!

The main characters are amazing and the growing relations between Brick and Madi is h🔥t. Danger appears to be on the horizon. 🌶️🌶️Oh my gosh. What a book to start my month out with. I read this in one sitting. I love shifter stories, I love fated mates, I love the banter and spice. The only thing I disliked was that this is a trilogy and I don’t have resolution yet. But on the plus side, I’ll get more book time with characters I love! Patience just isn’t my strong suit. I swear I got frustrated with how thick Brick was at times, but that wall started crumbling down and I was here for it. The alphahole dream team is at it again. I can't help it, I am obsessed with anything these two write. This story is no different. Big Bad Boss is a brand new series and in Midnight we meet an alpha shifter boss who is irresistable in every way. This man is in control of all things but yet finds himself in a situation where can no loner resist his assistant. These two have chemistry that is off the charts! It will have you screaming at your kindle the entire story. And that end?? Uggh I wanted to strangle him!!! What a cliffhanger.. I need more.. Such a good story.
WOW, normally hate cliff hanger series but I was hooked by the second page. Definitely not your usual helpless heroine, although definitely a growly, possesive alpha shifter male. Madi gives as good as she gets and then some when it comes to Brick. Unlike most everyone around Brick she stands up to him from the very beginning and uses her ingenuity to problem solve day-to-day business issues.Brick is large and in charge, at times being a definite alphahole. However, he quickly becomes enthralled with Madi and the story really kicks off. This is not your typical cookie cutter shifter romance, with plenty of world building and back story to add to the plot.Lee Savino and Renee Rose make quite the dynamic duo authoring this book with one voice. Unlike some multiple author stories the plot flows without a bunch of errors with characters and/or locations. This is a phenomenal start to a trilogy.I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This book is so different than other werewolve stories. It grabs you from the start and won’t let go. Now to finish the series in book 2.

I hate to pay full price for anything but I will for Renee Rose. And man, she did not disappoint. I have to say that this is the best book she has written In awhile. My emotions went on a roller coaster ride with this story. I even got annoyed with my husband when reading about Madi’s treatment by the big bad boss. Makes no sense, but there you are. I love this book, this emotional story is what good writing is all about. I love it.
This is a charming romance of 2 people from very, very different worlds who fall in love. The author does a great job of demonstrating the POV feelings of the 2 main characters as well as the significant characters that surround each of the star crossed lovers. It’s about trying to hold on to something even though you can’t see your way to get around the two different worlds. The story begins in book 1, Big Bad Boss Midnight, is carried through book 2, Big Bad Boss Moon Mad, and the conclusion is in book 3, Big Bad Boss Marked. I could not put the books down until I finished reading them. Well worth the read.
I loved Her strong nature, their bickering and interaction. It was refreshing and I finished the book in one day. I hope they find the light at the end of the tunnel.
As noted by other reviewers. it ends on a cliffhanger but good news Book 2 comes out in a couple of weeks. The tension between these two is a chef's kiss. The banter is wonderful. But also questions about side characters leaves an opening for their stories as well in the future. For all their worries about Moon Madness, one has to wonder why these guys never seem to listen to their wolves. Madi is a strong female character and she is able to go toe to toe with the entire executive group. Brick (what a great name) continues to do the unexpected (or is it totally expected for us readers). Can't wait to see how this all turns out.
I enjoyed every minute of this book. The characters are fascinating and the plot has me rooting for the alpha and his assistant. It is a good read….only there is a cliffhanger.
I am volunteering to leave a review for an Advance Reader Copy of this book. This was my first time reading a book by Renee Rose & Lee Savino and it was good. It had steamy scenes and the banter between Brick and Madison was good. It was a little softer than what I normally read but the story line was good. These two authors never let you down or disappoint, I have been reading them for years and will continue.
I enjoyed this novel very much... The story was very good and it was hard to put down.... I am looking forward to how Madi and Brick's story turns out... I hope it does have a HEA which I am sure it will... Renee Rose is an excellent writer and I enjoy her stories very much
Big Bad Boss is the first book in the trilogy and it's a PNR with a bosshole office romance with wolf shifters. The MMC is a total jerk through out, the FMC has some backbone but could've not given in quite as much. There is not enough background, plot falls short, low on spice meter and if I would have known this was a trilogy and it ended on a cliffhanger I would have skipped it and now I'm not even interested enough to read the second book.Brick Blackthroat is the Alpha of his pack. He doesn't like humans and goes through assistants very quickly.Madison just graduated college and needs to find a high paying job so she can put her little brother through college.Wall Street is where the money is at and she lands a job with Moon Co., as the assistant to the assistant for the Big Bad Boss.Brick knows she's smarter than any human he knows and her smell draws him in but he knows he cannot get involved with a human and that he needs to find his fated mate.Madi wears dresses with peekaboo cut outs that drive the boss crazy that lead to them doing the desk tango. She wants more but he leaves town to get away from her.She almost dies in a blizzard, his wolf wants to claim her but for the good of his pack be must tell her goodbye...
I totally loved this story. I was pulled right into it. I read it because of the author. She’s a favorite . BUT,.I would not have read it if I knew there was a cliffhanger ending. I bought it because of the author. I will NOT be buying the second one because I felt fooled with this story. PLEASE AUTHORS! If your book has a cliffhanger? Say so up front. Otherwise it really ticks off a lot of people .
Madi and Brick,not sure what to say,I don't usually read these type of stories but I like these two authors and I wasn't disappointed. Madi has a heart of gold and she is super smart and doesn't take any sass from her Big Bad Boss! Brick is tide in knots because he knows he can't choose a human for a mate but his wolf is fighting it .Now Brick has a decision to make and may change many people's lives especially Madi's ! I can't wait for part two!

It’s spicy as can be. There is a lot of drama, mostly surrounding Brick’s pack as well as a feud with their rivals. And, of course, keeping everything a secret from his very perceptive assistant. Fast paced and lots of fun, I’m completely intrigued by this couple and their story and I can’t wait for more, especially after that ending! 4.5 stars.

Wow! I’ve already pre-ordered the next book! This one keep me up all night - when I really need to get some sleep - and as soon as I’m done here…I’m going back to review some of the details. Witty dialog, great characters, enough steam to power a small country…yes, please, sir!
This my first time reading this author. The book was fantastic, great storyline and now I’m left waiting for book 2 which I preordered!
4.5/5 ⭐️I was excited to read this book because I haven't gotten into werewolf novels but this did not disappoint. The more I read, the more difficult it was to stop reading. I was hooked.Brick a total jerk and how I feel would be more stereotypical angry werewolf is the alpha of the pack and the CEO of Moon Co. Madi is a human that needs to make ends meet to help her brother pay for college. Madi took a job with Moon Co. to be the assistant to the assistant and worked her way into being the direct assistant to Brick. Madi earns Brick's trust by being able to read the room, do additional research to have ideas prior to meetings, and just by being stubborn.The cliff hanger… I don’t even have words but that was a “wtf, no!” moment and I am so mad/excited that is how it ended. I am ready to read further into the series. There is so much more I want to know and hopefully will get answers!I received an advanced review copy for free and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
