This was an interesting story. This book is well worth your time to read. Great plot and really great characters.

This is a fast read...80 pages so it's quick and dirty. Does the ML like his dirty talk? Yes, yes he does. Yuri is balancing a lot of craziness in that hotel room as he slowly or rather quickly shares his feelings for his captive, Lucy. She is not sure what to believe. I like that she's not the typical heroine. She's got a bit of sass. Although I was a little misled by the title; she does not submit in the traditional sense, and he is a very dominating but secretly caring, crazy Russian. It's difficult to explain the back of forth between these two. I was actually happy with her decision at the safe house (no spoilers) and with the epilogue. Note: Although he is Russian there are no other Bratva in this story. This bulk of the story follows events in a 24 hour period (give or take) in a hotel room as three of Don Diego's men are set to retrieve monies owed by Lucy's brother, and she has become the collateral. It all ties up a little too neatly at the end, but if you want an HEA in 80 pages .... well this is it."I may be crazy but crazy is better than stupid" - Marshmello

Oh, wow!! What a lover this Russian man was! Whew!! I could see how she fell for him and him for her!! Never a dull moment and marvelous writing!!

The story was interesting and had a happy ending.

I love a book that leaves one with a sense of satisfaction after reading it. This one does it for me. The contrast between Lucy's light and York's darkness is striking. Her light is strong enough to pull him into it too. Delicious!

Renee Rose’s books are addictive. If you need a quick, steamy read, then reach for this novella!Yuri is former Russian mafiya turned FBI agent, but he’s undercover with Italian mafia and has to kidnap Lucy in order to make sure her brother pays his debts. But his coworkers don’t know that he has a thing for her and will do anything to protect her.

The action was fast-paced and kept my interest. I loved the chemistry between Lucy and Yuri and the way he managed to protect her despite really difficult circumstances. A great HEA too.

Got busted grinning ear to ear at this wicked hot consent/non-consent story line. I have always had a thing for Russian mafia/secret agent alpha muscle...Vin Diesel might have had a starring role in my minds eye.

Yuri wants Lucy but she's light and he's dark. When her brother puts her in danger he vows to protect her even though it's his job to hurt her. Can she find any light in his darkness or will she just be consumed?

This was such an awesome book. I loved how steamy it was. I can't wait to read more books by this author.

Renee Rose wrote an excellent bad boy mafia romance. It was so good I didn't want it to end. The plot had a twist to it that made the book unforgettable.

This book wasnt mind blowing buy it was a good book . I enjoyed the characters . Their wasnt a big plot but it was decent.

That was a lot to cram into a 10 chapter novella...This author is a new to me author and I'm astounded at the amount of story she managed to tell in such a shortie.Well crafted story telling and completely believable characters...I love a good dark mafia romance.

Interesting to read, some really cool parts within the story! Don’t know if I would read another series, but it was somewhat a good book to read when you have nothing to do!

A quick and exciting read with a surprising turn of events. Yuri was a Russian with a dark past and hidden identity. He was a brooding dark alpha male who became totally infatuated with the lady DJ. Her life became a bargaining chip due to her brother's selfish habits. Yuri was sent as an enforcer for her brother but became the protector of his sister. A good read!

Not much with the mafia stuff but I love romance.

Yuri was everything I imagined a Russian to be. He was strong, dominating, fearsome, and so loving. His kind concern for Lucy was beautiful. I was happy that she finally recognized the love he had for her and the love she could return.

Really enjoyed the well written characters and tempo of this book. Storyline has a nice twist. Would definitely read more of Renee Rose.

I absolutely love stories with strong, possessive, hot Russians. They are so dominating yet gentle, brutish yet sweet.Yuri is no different when he first sees his Sunshine. He will go to any lengths to keep her safe. The story was too short, give me more!

This story is such a delight. Quirky, adorable characters, which I’ve come to expect from this author, but Lucy and Yuri are particularly delicious. Their broken edges fit together in ways I didn’t expect at the start, and the friction they produce is exceptionally hot!I wish the story was longer, only because I love these characters and wanted to stay with them, but it’s complete, no cliff-hanger, and very satisfying for how short it is.

I love Renee Rose and her spanking stories. The only downside to this story is that it was too short, though there was a lot of action that happens in the book. There is also a short story at the end about a boss and his assistant with, of course, a little bit of spanking!

This book was hot. Yuri sounds hot as heck. Love books with tattooed mafia members. Loved the whole FBI angle most mafia books don't have anything like that. Loved this story. She was a lucky B to get Yuri.

Waaaaaahhhh. I want my own Yuri. I kept turning page after page, breathless for more. That hot book cover combined with the intensity in the story made for a really good read!!

Well written. Hot and Steamy. Yuri is completely obsessed with Lucy. And he's not afraid to tell her so. He has watched her for so long, thinking of her as his Sunshine. The only light in his dark, violent life. His world revolves around her. Super hot story. Quick, though. Won't take too long. My kindle version ended at like 61% or something, with another even shorter story at the end, a Billionaire Boss spanking story. I'm only part way through that one.Yuri is a keeper. Enjoy this one.

This novella is scorching hot. The sec scenes were titillating! I liked Yuri's character. He had no doubts about his need to do better by Lucy. My only misgiving is the book is in third person. I would have enjoyed it better in first person point of view.

That’s how I would categorize this book. It’s short and hot, and I completely enjoyed it. It ends at 75%, and there is a short story following. Yuri has been obsessed with Lucy since he first saw her. He sees her as a ray of sunshine in his dark world. Then he has to take her hostage for the mob boss he works for.What follows is frightening and confusing for poor Lucy, as she tries to figure out if she can trust Yuri to protect her in a very scary situation. It gets a bit rough, and includes some spanking. I really liked both Yuri and Lucy, and felt the intensity between them. There is a very sweet HEA. I will gladly indulge in this type of guilty pleasure again!
