Chicago Bratva Book 7: The Cleaner - Paperback

Ok so this story I almost did not read. I was thinking that maybe the story is not interesting anymore, because all of the main caracters had there storys. But ok WOW, this one was so interesting and well written. I really enjoy reading this. Hot AS hell and was funny also. I recommend this book.

The Cleaner is the seventh installment in Renee Rose’s Chicago Bratva series. In it, she chronicles the romantic journey of Kateryna Poval and Adrian Turgenev. She is the daughter of Leon Pavol, a Moscow Bratva leader. She was sent away to England for schooling. He is the cleaner for the Chicago Bratva. His sister was human trafficked by Pavol’s cell. He seeks vengenance and Pavol’s death. Adrian gets a lead of Kateryna and kidnaps her. During her captivity they fall in love. Will he stay true to his mission? Will they find happiness together? To find out what unfolds, you must read this bYet again, Ms. Rose does an outstanding job with this mafia romance. Her plot line is two pronged. One is a basic mafia romance arc wherein the male is the alpha and the woman is submissive. Like the other is a character driven plot line.. Readers witness the evolution of both lead characters. I like how Ms. Rose creates multi-dimensional lead characters and how she uses secondary characters to create a pseudo family unit supporting the main characters. Ms. Rose uses dialog and a dual point of view to build a palpable romantic tension. Her descriptive language creates vivid scenes. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

I absolutely loved allOf these books in the series. I love getting into the minds of these big,strong, dangerous men. When Adrian was introduced way back in book 1 I really didn’t think he had it in him. He seemed shy, young, and inexperienced. Well this book comes later obviously and he’s learned a thing or two.He decides to go on his own to try to get a hold of the man responsible for what happened toNadia. What better way to get his attention the lm by grabbing his one and only daughter. I have to say, Adrian was such a good guy aside from actually kidnapping Kat. He kept her safe, he didn’t defile her body when she begged for it. He tried to keep her from having a bad trip. I wasn’t exactly sure how Inwas going to feel towards him and his actions until they were on the ship. What he did for her!! These guys really are a great group of men even if they are dangerous. They do not harm the innocent and try not to let anyone else harm the innocent either. Another great 5 star read. I’m actually getting worried that I’m coming to the end of the series soon.

Usually when I read, I picture everything in my head like a movie. This was a great movie in my head. It was this crazy dangerous plot. That worked out well thank goodness. However it had me on pins and needles for a while.

Adrian's story is powerful and it touches on things we are dealing with in today's society. I loved the storyline but it fell flat for me in the first half of the book. Make no mistake Renee knows how to draw you back in and that's where I couldn't put the book down. I would give it 3 in a half stars.

Adrian wants revenge for the torment his sister Nadia was put through by a mafia boss. He decides to make the daughter of the mafia boss, Kat pay for her father's sins. Kat is already broken and damaged from life. Adrian never expected to catch feelings for his captive. Will the two be torn apart or stay together?I received a copy of this book via Netgalley.

Renee Rose is new to me, so I’m trying to catch up on her books. This one is as good as the first in series. Don’t skip this author. Well written with characters that live with us well after the last page!

This is the seventh book in this series. It features Adrian Turgenev. He is fairly new to the Bratva. He joined when his sister was abducted by human traffickers. He tracked her down to Chicago and joined Ravil’s cell. Now that he has saved his sister he is out for revenge. He finds out that the man responsible has a daughter. So he goes rogue and plans to kidnap Kateryna “Kat” Poval. He plans to make her father think she is suffering just like his sister suffered. But it turns out that Kat has her own reasons to hate her father. And the further into this “abduction” that Adrian goes he finds himself wanting to keep her. And Kat thinks she has finally found her match. But of course their plans go haywire. Can Adrian do the right thing? Can Kat survive goi g back to her father? Will they each find the courage to trust and love one another? This is a fast paced story with all the feels and lots of steamy action. I can hardly wait for the next book.

Renee delivers again. I am glad that Adrian was able to find his secret to a "good and peaceful" life.

I really like this series and while this started a little dark, it was so good. Adrian is perfect as the conflicted hero and Kat is so fun in all of her messiness. She knew what she wanted for herself and that was powerful to me.

Soooo… Kat was a bit too immature and reckless for me. Besides her looks, I can’t see why he would be interested in her. Maybe it’s just me. I thought this book was okay. I had to skip around a lot to finish it though. It just didn’t capture my attention very well.

Loved reading the entertaining and engrossing romance story. Adrian wants revenge against the man responsible what happened to his sister and puts his plan into action: kidnap the crime lord's daughter, Kateryna (Kat), and make him pay for what he's done. Adrian and Kat's chemistry is explosive and passionate. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, riveting storyline, and a must read love story.

This story will have you holding your breath while sitting on the edge of your seat with suspense. Lots of twist and turns to Adrian and Katarinas story. They’re both wondering if revenge and murder will be the end of there little escapade or will love win out in the end? This is a must read book, along with the rest of the books in the “Chicago Bratva”series I loved them all and can’t wait for the next book The Player! Great job Renee Rose please keep them coming!

It's not really easy to invest in a different life but the rewards are phenomenal !! Don't be surprised when the plans are altered or when what was happening is more amazing !!

Loved this exciting entry in the series. The chemistry was blasting on high between Kat and Adrian and I thought it was a great twist for Adrian to have real trepidation after meeting Kat, who had her emotions on her sleeve. Yes, it's fiction, but her actions were also very believable. I'm crazy about this series, since it seems like the author pushes herself to be more and more creative in each story.

I love this series and read through each book at lightning speed! I am curious how the next book will be with gout a bear o brother as the main love interest. I have it preordered and will find out soon.

This book is one of my favorites from the series so far. Really enjoyed this read. It was fun and flirty but also dark and crude with lots of hot and steamy! So good!

The Cleaner has one crazy plot, involving kidnapping, revenge, certain kinks, and more. You’ll either roll with it, or it’ll drive you bonkers if you start to analyze it. I rolled with The Cleaner for the most part. Adrian is definitely misguided in his refusal to work with the rest of his bratva crew, and Kat responds a bit too easily to his dominance (which, considering that wasn’t something he’d done much of before, became a skillset of Adrian’s remarkably quickly).So what did work? The intense connection between these two people. Adrian is hell-bent on revenge for his sister’s abuse, and Kat’s seemingly carefree nature masks pain that is only slowly revealed to the reader. Seeing each of them come to realize what they can give to the other is the best part of The Cleaner.This book reads like a cabin romance, as there’s a laser focus on Kat and Adrian. I missed seeing more of the rest of the bratva crew, so I hope Rose brings them back in greater detail in the next book. But this is another solid and unusual entry in the wonderful Chicago Bratva series.

This book is filled with drama and suspense that will have you on the edge of your seat until the end, you will be intrigued and awed at the writing of this story. Wondering how it will end and hope for the best for Kat and Adrian. If you have not read anything from this author yet, I highly recommend this one. You will fall in love with these characters and Renee’s writing style, like I have from many of her stories, now including this one.

Oh I loved Adrian and Kats story even though things didn't go as planned they gained so much more and learn so much about themselves.It is written to fall in love with these two and I love the banter and never know what happens next. Action packed and hot once these two finalize a plan of revenge and acceptance things turn around and you will fall in love.

I liked the turmoil that Adrian has over the revenge he seeks for his sister when he encounters Kat. I think their chemistry is almost palpable at times. It is a little different than the others but not in a bad way. HEA all around.

I can honestly say that after The Bookie, I wasn't as excited about this series. For example: I could always use more about the Tacone Family (Vegas Underground), even though they all have stories. However, if there was more added to their world with secondary characters becoming primaries, I am not sure that I would enjoy it the same way. This was my exact same thoughts about The Cleaner. All of the original crew members have stories, so I had questions on how this series would continue.I don't think Adrian's origins are clear, so it may take you a minute to remember him. His sister, Nadia, was abducted in Russia. He never gives up looking for her, and ends up burning down the sofa factory after rescuing the women being held there. When he becomes a suspect in the fire, Ravel takes him to see Lucy. It's that meeting that is the catalyst for The Director. Fast forward, Adrian has now joined the crew as The Cleaner.As the book opens, I really thought the vibe was very similar to Wild Card (Vegas Underground Book 8). In fact, at one point, I really thought both characters were going to turn into reincarnates. It was a little bit distracting and yet comforting all at the same time. Just like Paolo and Caitlin, you can't help but fall in love with these two. Adrian may act like a bonehead some times, but his heart is in the right place. Kateryna may have daddy issues, but she's as loyal as they come. They should never belong in each other's worlds, but they really are two halves of the same whole. They just have to wade through the mess to get to the other side.

Renee Rose always gives us a good read, with some spicy kink. I am not a fan of Bratva in general but this is totally enjoyable. Adrian and Kateryna are perfect together as his heart is claimed by his captive his plans for revenge end. But his Bratva family pulls everything together to help them take down their enemy. This is a great addition to this series, I am looking forward to the Nadia and Flynn's story in the next book.

The story is the 7th in the Chicago Bratva series and could read as a stand-alone. The story is an excellent addition to the series and has Adrian Turgenev, a Cleaner for the Chicago-based Bratva. He plans to seek revenge against Leon Poval for what he did to his sister, Nadia. But sometimes, the cost of revenge isn't as sweet as when thought out.Kateryna 'Kat' Poval lives in Liverpool, where she is a student at the university. She was sent, by her father, to a boarding school when she was thirteen and has stayed in England. There is no love lost between Kat and her father, who she believes killed her mother.The story's plot will have Adrian going rogue from the Chicago Bratva by following leads on Poval's daughter, Kateryna, who lives in Liverpool. He plans to follow her, take her, and then do precisely what Pavol did to Nadia, place her on a cargo ship and transport her to the USA. His plans don't quite go as he hopes, and the one thing he never expected was to get to know Kat as a person and not just a hostage. Adrian is so caught up in his plot for revenge, even if it costs him his own life in the process, that he ignores Ravil and the others in the brotherhood. He doesn't want to risk anyone else while he seeks justice.The chemistry between Adrian and Kat is explosive. What was supposed to be a means for revenge becomes two people who need each other. Kat is innocent of her father's crimes, and after Adrian is in deep, he realizes it isn't fair to treat her as Nadia was treated. It would be one thing to kill Pavol, but another to use Kat. It doesn't take much to learn that Kat doesn't have any strong feelings for her father; if anything, she detests him and knows that he did something to her mother.I will admit that I liked Adrian and Kat together, and I think they are suitable for each other, but I think that Kat will help Nadia heal from her ordeal in time. Sometimes good can come out of evil, and with Kateryna in the lives of Adrian and Nadia, they have a new future.

This is such a great read!! We meet Adrian, the cleaner for his family, as he pretty much goes rogue in an effort to seek revenge against the man who tortured his sister. Kateryna is an innocent in this game as she just happens to be the mans daughter. Adrian kidnaps her but this is not his fortay so he finds himself out of his depth as the situation progresses. Add in the development of feelings and things really get interesting making for quite the fun read as it all plays out. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

I love the continued Brotherhood and the way they care for each other. Forgiveness and learning to let past hurts go. This book was a pleasure to read and I would recommend it
