Fantastic story. You just never know who is right under your nose and he has a huge heart! Love the storyline and such wonderful writing!

Absolutely the perfect story. I normally take forever to read a book and I couldn’t stop reading this one!!!!!!!! It has been one of my favorites from Renee I love the books she wrote that I have read. She is a great author and makes it easy for you to imagine the whole story.

Another quick read.A very aggressive male and a super innocent woman.There is a scene of attempted rape. If that disturbs you don't read.

Damaged marine sergeant, brooding and angry. Sweet innocent new neighbor who’s bubbly personality won’t let his grumpy mood deter her! They feel the connection right from the start. She needs his protection and he needs her sweetness. And when they find out just how compatible they are in the bedroom, theres no turning back! Great story! Loved it!

I really enjoyed this sweet book. The H has issues that only a cutie like Katie can handle. She is exactly what Rob needs. Great chemistry between these characters.

Considering this book only has 4 chapters, Renee does a wonderful job at character development and the heat is off the charts.

I loved this story! A damaged man brought back to life by the sweet girl next door, they were exactly what each other needed.I appreciated the more honest depiction of a wounded warrior, not just the physical but the emotional pain that maybe involved as well.

Another great book from Renee Rose. Loved the spanking scenes as always. She is amazing could have been a little longer only because I can't get enough!

Being a short story/novella, the pacing was really fast, but didn’t gloss over Rob’s struggles with ptsd. The 1950’s housewife trope isn’t my thing, but to each their own. The characters were well developed, and very likable.

Ok, the hot damaged Sergeant dom totally does it for me. I loved his 1950s fantasy, too. Katie is even stronger than she is sweet. I enjoyed her sass and the way she threw herself into something completely new so bravely. Hot hot hot. A+ would read again.

Minor grammatical errors, but overall loved the book. Great storyline. My only concern is how realistic is their first night together? He would have to be damn good to able to restrain her after being assaulted and almost raped. Of course some are stronger than others, but geepers.. still a fun book though

Caitlyn meets Rob when he's moving in next door to her. He's not very friendly but that doesn't faze her. He's not here to get friendly with his neighbour. He thinks she's hot but he's damaged goods & a girl like her wouldn't be interested in him. Wrong. Thanks.

These re not only great characters in a seamless storyline but it also pays tribute to our military service people and what they suffer through when coming home and trying to adjust. This was a great story with terrific D/s interaction and scenes.

I normally don’t like military romances. But I really like this author and decided to give it a shot. It’s a quick read, but very good. Scenes were good and characters had good chemistry, even for such a short amount of time. But I’ve been there. It can happen. Definitely recommend and if you like sci-fi check out her other books.

Loved reading about the hot alpha Marine who knows how to give a girl exactly what she wants. Brooding soldier comes to the rescue and in return the damsel in distress rescues his heart.

This is a short story but it’s smoking hot.

Completely enjoyed this read about a young upbeat social worker and the battle scarred marine that moves in next door. Seeing how these two meet when he just wants to be alone, it's a struggle to get them together. But so satisfying when they finally do!!

I think this was a hot book. And I loved it from beginning to end. I would definitely recommend this book.

Very good read, this book wasn't very long but it had more than enough content. Not a standard cookie cutter romance but worth every second you spend reading it.

The author did a good job showing the growing emotions between Kaitlyn and Rob. He is a disabled marine vet that moves in to the apartment next to hers. He is not happy with his life, somewhat like survivors guilt, I think. While Kaitlyn is a social worker and doesn't realize she has a submissive tendency. When he comes to her rescue, it puts them in a situation to test that submissiveness. Rob does finally decide to come out of his despondency and join the real world and in so doing gives both of them a happy ending.

No one else could deliver this kind of broken love story except Renee Rose. He is broken in his grief and she is too sweet to back down. But then there is more to them both than meets the eye.

I thought these short romance was well written and I really enjoyed reading about Rob and Kaitlyn. Look forward to reading more books by these author.

A wonderful novella. I loved the fifties feel in this story. And the way the characters connected. sweet, but also hot

Within a few pages Ms Rose weaves a sweet, and kinky fairy tale, between the good girl next door, and the grumpy new, distinctly dominant, neighbor. Triggered by a very nasty incident they develope a relationship that rearranges their preconceived roles in life. Et voila, they get their HEA, with juicy spankings sprinkled on top.
